Final Project

Had the opportunity to participate in collaborative research with the Faculty of Pharmacy, Padjadjaran University for the final project. The theme is synthesis of capsule shells from natural polymers. The research carried out is based on research and development. Capsule shell synthesis uses starch and chitosan with glycerol as a plasticizer and calcium chloride as a crosslinker. The research results show that the capsule shell obtained has the potential to be a sustained-release drug delivery system.

pH Meter Training

In May 2024, I had the opportunity to take part in hands-on training activities by Labmania which is located in Summarecon, Bekasi. training regarding techniques for using, maintaining and verifying pH meter methods.

Lab Assistant

From March to July 2023, I was a laboratory assistant for the Physical Chemistry II practicum course. My duties and responsibilities include preparation, implementation, reporting, and assessment. The practicum title consists of viscosity as a function of temperature, lyophilic sol, adsorption isotherm, reaction order, and liquid surface tension.

Internship

In July-August 2022, I had the opportunity to intern at BPMB. I work in a food chemistry laboratory. My duties and responsibilities are to carry out sample analysis using methods based on SNI and AOAC, implement OHS in laboratory, and make daily test reports. Chemical analyses and tests that have been carried out :
- Sample content testing using a UV-VIs spectrophotometer
- Polarization using a polarimeter
- Specific gravity of grains using sieving
- Filtration using the vacuum method
- Extraction using the reflux method
- Metal content testing using AAS and ICP-MS
The final report of the internship carried out tests on honey samples using the hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) test method to determine the quality of the honey as an indicator of honey freshness, identification of the heating process, addition of inverted sugar, or long storage.
